A newly discovered genetic link between two different conditions, G6PD deficiency and Incontinentia Pigmenti was reported in the Human Molecular Genetics Oxford Journal. The study was financed by the Italian Telethon and led by Dr. Matilde Valeria Ursini, a researcher at the Institute of Genetics and Biophysics ‘Adriano Buzzati-Traverso’, IGB-CNR, Naples 80131, Italy.
